My journey as a student of fine art began after retiring from a career in book publishing. It began at Hemet Valley Art Association with pencil-drawing classes, followed by watercolor workshops and  Betty Pilley's weekly watercolor classes.

I expanded and polished my techniques learning from Joyce Thomas, Janice Cipriani-Willis,  and Robert Willis. I am a member of Hemet Valley Art Association and Dorland Mountain Arts.

In addition to watercolor on paper, I am experimenting with painting on yupo and using charcoal combined with watercolor.
